Position Overview

As the director of Oncology Providers Relations, you are responsible for provider relations for all Physicians and Advanced Providers in the oncology Service Line. This position is an integral part of the OSG leadership team providing input, guidance, and counsel on the strategic direction of OSG. It involves developing and nurturing leaders within the organization, recruitment, and performance management, and contributing to clinical and service excellence initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides leadership support of the supervisors and managers responsible for the Oncology APP teams.
  • Facilitates collaborative working relations with employed providers.
  • Provides leadership for the direction and accomplishment of contractual obligations associated with employed providers under MSA, PSA.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development, growth, and maturation of direct report supervisors and managers as leaders of the organization.
  • Collaborates proactively with human resources for provider recruitment and performance management of employed physicians.
  • Collaborates with the director and executive team to develop clinical and service excellence pillar work.
  • Develops, plans, and provides means for implementation of department goals.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements policies and procedures within their scope of work.
  • Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of providers and services performed.
  • Nurtures a positive working environment that honors the four agreements and aligning to the organizational pillars.
  • Seeks opportunities for professional growth for self and all employees within scope of work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare
  • 5-7 years of experience in formal leadership roles
  • Experience with project management, including design and successful implementation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Admin, Business Admin or other related field
  • APP or RN background
  • Experience working in Oncology
