Position Overview

The Marketing Intern will support the department's success by assisting the marketing team with a variety of tasks and hands-on learning to help drive marketing initiatives. The Marketing Intern will assist with content creation, social media campaigns, and data analysis to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual interested in digital marketing, content strategy, and campaign analytics.

Essential Job Functions

  • Contribute to OSG’s external presence by assisting with social media content, website updates, and digital marketing efforts. 
  • Support the creation of marketing and PR materials, such as pitch decks and one-pagers, to help communicate OSG’s services and initiatives to external audiences. 
  • Gain experience in market research and outreach strategies by assisting with provider referral engagement, recruitment efforts, and community partnerships. 
  • Help refine website content and strategy by supporting updates, messaging improvements, and user experience enhancements. 
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to align marketing efforts with broader organizational goals, including provider relations and community engagement. 
  • Track engagement metrics and contribute insights to help optimize marketing efforts while learning about data-driven decision-making. 
  • Develop hands-on experience in healthcare marketing and communications through mentorship, project-based work, and exposure to industry best practices. 

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or other related field.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong skills in analyzing data and metrics using tools with a willingness to learn digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage and track marketing campaigns and content with precision, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Creative Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying marketing challenges and brainstorming innovative strategies to address them.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to craft compelling content and translate complex marketing data into clear, actionable insights for the team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Interest in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and process automation for streamlining marketing efforts.
