The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is critical to the Communications team, helping to strengthen OSG’s brand presence and foster meaningful connections with the community. Working in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications Strategist, this role executes marketing initiatives across digital and traditional channels, including managing social media content, updating website materials, and producing engaging print and digital assets. The Coordinator also supports community and sponsored events, partnering with internal teams and external organizations to ensure OSG is well represented. In addition, this position contributes to internal communications as they align with external marketing priorities, ensuring OSG’s story is shared consistently, clearly, and in ways that connect with patients, partners, and the broader community.
This is a full-time position. The hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with the ability to flex when needed.
Essential Job Functions
- Implement marketing initiatives that enhance OSG’s external presence, including social media, website updates, and digital campaigns, using compelling storytelling to connect with patients, partners, and the community.
- Create brochures, flyers, pitch decks, one-pagers, and other print and digital materials to communicate OSG’s services and initiatives, ensuring consistency with the established brand voice and visual identity.
- Coordinate sponsored community events and outreach activities by organizing volunteers, managing logistics, preparing materials, and representing OSG on-site.
- Support internal communications such as emails, newsletters, and intranet content, ensuring alignment with external marketing messages.
- Conduct market research and evaluate program opportunities to inform marketing strategies and community engagement.
- Track and report on marketing, communications, and engagement metrics, using insights to guide strategies and recommend improvements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management, for which appropriate training will be provided, to support departmental objectives and organizational success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant marketing and/or communications experience.
- Demonstrated graphic design skills and proficiency in programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Customer service experience, with the ability to work some evenings and weekends to represent OSG at community events.
- Ability to travel between OSG office locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with digital marketing analytics tools and platforms.
- Media/video production and editing experience.
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or other related environments.
