Oregon Specialty Group Names Jeron Jackson as CEO

Oregon Specialty Group has named Jeron Jackson as its Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1st.
Jeron steps into the role as Mel Davies concludes her time with the organization after nearly nine years. During her tenure, Mel helped guide a period of significant growth, expanding services, building key partnerships, and advancing specialty care throughout the region. OSG thanks her for the leadership she brought to this work and wishes her all the best in what comes next.
In the past six months as Chief Operating Officer, Jeron has taken on a broad scope of operational leadership across the organization. He brings more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience in specialty medical groups, hospital service lines, and multi-site operations, and a strong understanding of healthcare strategy, operations, and priorities. His background spans oncology, cardiovascular services, orthopedics and sports medicine, neurosciences, surgical services, ambulatory care, and research.
In his role as CEO, Jeron will guide the organization’s strategic direction, with a focus on expanding access to specialty care, strengthening care delivery, and supporting the teams who make that work possible across the region.

A native Oregonian, Jeron holds degrees from BYU–Idaho and Pacific University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves as a founding board member of ENC, a nonprofit focused on sustainable housing and community models for adults with autism and older adults. He and his wife, Crystal, have five sons.
