Oregon Specialty Group is proud to welcome Jeron Jackson as its new Chief Operating Officer. Jeron brings more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience leading specialty medical groups, hospital service lines, and multi-site operations across the Midwest and Mountain West. His background spans oncology, cardiovascular services, orthopedics and sports medicine, neurosciences, surgical services, ambulatory care, and research. Most recently, he served in an executive role with Marshfield Clinic Health System, overseeing multiple service lines.
Jeron’s path into healthcare was shaped early in life. His father worked as a respiratory therapist, and his mother’s experience with ovarian cancer gave him a close understanding of what patients and families walk through. These early influences helped form his commitment to improving systems, elevating patient care, and supporting the teams who deliver it. His leadership approach blends analytical rigor with a people centered focus, and he is known for strengthening operations, stabilizing workforce structures, scaling service lines, and mentoring leaders at every level.
In his role at Oregon Specialty Group, Jeron will support operational planning, service line development, and ongoing efforts to expand access to high quality specialty care throughout the region.
“Jeron brings a thoughtful and collaborative approach to leadership that fits well with who we are as an organization. His experience supporting complex service lines will help us grow in ways that strengthen the care we provide and support the teams who make that care possible.”
– Mel Davies, Oregon Specialty Group President
A native Oregonian, Jeron holds degrees from BYU–Idaho and Pacific University. Joining OSG represents both a meaningful professional milestone and a return to the Pacific Northwest for him, his wife Crystal, and their five boys.
He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, maintains strong academic and mentoring ties with Pacific University and BYU–Idaho, and serves as a founding board member of ENC, a nonprofit focused on sustainable housing and community models for adults with autism and older adults.
“I’m excited to join Oregon Specialty Group and support the important work happening across the organization. It’s clear that the teams here are deeply committed to patient care, and I’m honored to be part of that effort.”
– Jeron Jackson, Oregon Specialty Group Chief Operating Officer
